Planning first. Preparation second. No April surprises.

We project your income and tax liability during the year, make the moves while they still count, then prepare and file the returns. Semi-annually for larger clients, at least annually for everyone.

What you get

What year-round tax work looks like

01

Liability projections

Annual income and tax projections so you know the April number by summer, with estimated payments adjusted as the year moves.

02

Tax-saving moves

Deductions, timing of major purchases, entity structure, retirement contributions. Identified and executed before December 31, when they still matter.

03

Planning

Your business and your personal return planned as one picture. We look for ways to reduce your tax liability before deadlines pass, and revisit the plan as the rules and your numbers change.

04

Preparation and filing

Business returns, all required state filings, and owners' personal federal and state returns as an add-on. Documentation maintained for the record.

The way we run it

April is a result. The work happens in July.

The rhythm

Beyond the return

ongoing

Law changes, translated

When Congress or your state changes the rules, we tell you what it means for your return in plain English, before it costs you.

as needed

Big decisions, priced first

Buying equipment, hiring, opening a location, selling the business: we run the tax math before you sign, not after.

as needed

Tax notice response

An IRS or state letter shows up, you forward it, we handle it. Available as an add-on service.

year-end

1099s on time

Contractor 1099s prepared and filed on schedule, with the records to back them up.

Straight answers

Questions owners actually ask

What is the difference between tax planning and tax preparation?

Preparation reports what already happened; planning changes what happens. A preparer files your return in March. A planner calls you in September because a purchase, an election, or a compensation change will cut the bill while there is still time to act.

How much can tax planning actually save?

It depends on your income and structure, and we will not invent a number. What we can say is the common wins for owners in the $500K to $5M range come from entity structure, owner compensation, timing, and retirement design, and they are usually multiples of our fee. We show you the math for your situation on the first call.

Do you prepare personal returns too?

Yes, as an add-on for business owners. Business and personal tax strategy are the same conversation when you own the company.

I already have a tax preparer. Why change?

If you hear from them once a year and the bill still surprises you, you have a preparer, not a plan. Bring your last return to a 30-minute call and we will tell you what a planning-first approach would have done differently.
